Mncedisi Manona is the proud owner of Mncerro Leather Works which he runs closely with his wife, who is also his business partner in Peddie in the Eastern Cape.
He was born in Johannesburg in 1987, but grew up in Peddie. He started making leather items back in 2009 in Port Elizabeth at the Sunday Beachfront Craft Market and has been self employed making leather bags and other leather products since then.
In 2010 he decided to move back to Peddie. He has been based there ever since and his absolute love of working with leather has seen him grow his range to include bags, backpacks, travelling, overnight and sports bags, as well as a funky range of shoulder, clutch and saddle bags, and many more genuine leather products. The colours he mainly works with are blue, brown, red and black naturally dyed leather.
